Dr. Leigh Anne Liu, Director of the Institute of International Business, was the Keynote Speaker at the Consortium for International Marketing Research (CIMaR) 29th Annual Conference held June 20-23, 2022 at Nord University, Bodo, Norway. She spoke on Global Business: Implications for Business and Scholars.
Prof. Salomao Alencar DeFarias, an Institute of International Business faulty member, won CIMaR’s Best Paper Award, entitled: Cultural Dimensions and Product Endorsement: An Analysis of Digital Influencer Postings on Social Media. The purpose of the study is to understand the individualism/collectivism and masculinity/femininity cultural dimensions presented in the endorsements made by digital influencers on Instagram.
