The Institute of International Business, and the Mediterranean School of Business, a unit of South Mediterranean University located in Tunis, Tunisia, partnered to offer students the opportunity to work in cross-border virtual teams to complete a ‘Consultancy’ project. Projects entailed proposing, researching and drafting a business case dealing with a real business phenomenon or challenge that is interesting, and that requires insight and thoughtful recommendations.
Cases described a firm-specific issue such as international business, management, marketing, technology, human resources, or related areas. Students also included a set of grounded recommendations to address the issues.
Teams were comprised of two Georgia State students and two Mediterranean School of Business students. The top three cases competed for Awards and Certificates of Achievement.
